Kamilah Taylor is a Senior Software Engineer at LinkedIn, where she’s led multiple projects. Previously she worked in robotics at Wolfram Research. She co-authored “Women in Tech: Take Your Career to the Next Level with Practical Advice and Inspiring Stories.” She has advocated for women and people of color in the tech industry, and volunteers for many organizations, including BlackGirlsCode, Code2040, Technovation, MEDA, and the Palisadoes Foundation. She has given talks at events such as Swift Summit, Realm, Tech Inclusion, and GHC.
Kamilah received a B.Sc. in computer science and mathematics from The University of the West Indies in Jamaica and an M.S. in computer science with a specialization in robotics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has been recognized for her work in publications such as TechCrunch, Women 2.0, Women Who Code, and the Jamaica Gleaner, and was recently named in the list “40 Under 40: Tech Diversity — Silicon Valley.”
