Peggy Wallace

Peggy Wallace is a Managing Partner of Golden Seeds LLC and was a founding member of the organization. She is an Owner Operator of Golden Seeds as well as a Managing Partner of the Golden Seeds Funds. Golden Seeds is an investment firm that invests in early-stage, women-led companies in the United States. The group was founded in 2005 and has become a leading force in focusing on gender diversity, entrepreneurship, and job creation. It is headquartered in New York City, with active chapters in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, and Silicon Valley. It is one of the largest and most active angel investment networks in the U.S. Golden Seeds also manages two venture capital funds with committed capital of $32 million. In total, Golden Seeds has invested over $110 million in nearly 150 companies.

Peggy is an experienced Board Member. She provides strategic advice to the core group of fund companies. Because of the sector diversity and geographic breadth of Golden Seeds and her passion for following disruptive technologies, she remains current on industry, economic, and global trends.

Peggy retains board positions with privately held Cognition Therapeutics, Chromis Fiberoptics, and Bergen Medical. She is a board observer on Cadenza Innovation and Paradigm 4. She has served as a juror on the International Cartier Women’s Initiative Award and served as a Judge for the NY EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Peggy is quoted in the media for her expertise on angel investing, and has been featured on Bloomberg News. Before founding Golden Seeds, she was on Wall Street as a Managing Director in the Structured Finance/Financial Institutions arena. She spent a significant portion of her career at JP Morgan and Chase.
