Catherine Yeh is a senior at Williams College (MA) studying computer science and cognitive science. She is also passionate about art and constantly looking for novel ways to synergize emerging technologies and creative expression. Catherine’s main research interests include Human-AI interaction, intelligence augmentation, and intersections of art and technology. She is currently conducting research with Prof. Iris Howley (Williams College) to explore the impact of algorithmic understanding on decision-making for learning and develop an empirical framework for explainable AI. This past summer, she studied interventions for hybrid workplace productivity and designed an ML automated coding system for qualitative survey responses as an undergraduate intern at Microsoft Research. In her free time, Catherine enjoys painting, baking, playing the piano, and traveling.
