Call for Participation Co-Chair and GHC Content Advisory Board

Purpose
AnitaB.org CFP Co-Chairs are responsible for helping AnitaB.org identify content for AnitaB.org events and sessions (including GHC, Membership, Senior Leadership Summit, and more!).
Location
AnitaB.org CFP Co-Chairs will primarily work virtually. If they choose to attend an event, we may ask for additional (voluntary) on-site support.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with AnitaB.org to select reviewers for your area(s) of expertise
- Partner with AnitaB.org to manage a team of reviewers ensuring reviews are completed properly and on time. (*AnitaB.org recruits an average of 600 volunteers to complete reviewsdivided amongst 12-18 tracks/focus areas)
- CompleteCo-Chair reviews of submissions within your area(s) of expertise
- Partner with the AnitaB.org GHC Advisory Board to ensure equitable representation of people and content at GHC 22
Length of Appointment
Each Focus area will have three (3) Co-Chairs. AnitaB.org CFP Co-Chairs serve a 3-year term as follows:
- Year 1: Mentee year. Co-Chairs will be paired with a more experienced co-chair to ensure a smooth introduction to chairing.
- Year 2: Leadership year. Co-Chairs in their second year will lead their focus area. During this year, Co-Chairs are expected to delegate responsibilities to the other co-chairs and reviewers as well as serve as the main point of contact with AnitaB.org and the GHC Advisory Board.
- Year 3: Mentor year. During the final year, Co-Chairs will work with the incoming Co-Chair to ensure a smooth transition into
Time Commitment
Minimum five (5) to ten (10) hours per week divided amongst the three (3) Co-Chairs of the focus area. This commitment is year-round with peaks during the months of March- June where co-chairs can expect to be busier.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of technical experience. Previous experience reviewing technical event submissions is a plus.
Support
AnitaB.org has a team of individuals dedicated to supporting the CFP and Volunteers. Training for this position will be provided in addition to Co-Chair mentorship.

GHC Content Advisory Board Details

Purpose
AnitaB.org GHC Advisory Board Members are responsible for helping AnitaB.org ensure equitable representation of people and content for our GHC attendees.
Location
AnitaB.org GHC Advisory Board Members will primarily work virtually. If they choose to attend an event, we may ask for additional (voluntary) on-site support.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with org staff and the AnitaB.org CFP Co-Chairs to ensure equitable representation of people and content at GHC 22
Length of Appointment
The Advisory Board will consist of 4-6 members from Academia and Industry. Each Advisory Board Member will serve a two-year term
Time Commitment
Minimum one hour per month to meet with AnitaB.org Staff and AnitaB.org CFP Co-Chairs to hear monthly updates and progress. 1-2 hours per month to meet with AnitaB.org as GHC content decisions are being made.
Qualifications
