GHC 24 ID & Academic Verification

AnitaB.org has established new, mandatory identification processes to help ensure event security and the best possible attendee experience. Here’s what you need to know about our new policies.

Post-Registration ID Verification Required for All Attendees

To ensure a seamless and secure experience, GHC 24 is introducing an ID verification process that includes a secure biometric check. All attendees will be required to verify their identity with a valid ID (See the detailed list of acceptable documents here.) and a selfie, which not only strengthens event security but also streamlines check-in, allowing participants to focus on connecting and learning with confidence.

More details on the ID verification process which will take place after registration will be available in the coming weeks.

Academic Verification

If you purchase an academic registration, you must upload your academic credentials during the registration process. The academic credential (for students & faculty) must prove you are a student/faculty member in 2024. Acceptable documents are listed below; you only need to submit one for verification:

Acceptable Documents for Eligibility – Students

Student ID

  • Full name – The name you register for GHC 24 with must match the name on your document
  • Expiration date – Must be within the next four years

Official Acceptance letter

  • Full name – The name you register for GHC 24 with must match the name on your document
  • Semester – The first semester must be in 2024

Enrollment letter or certificate

  • Full name – The name you register for GHC 24 with must match the name on your document
  • Semester – The semester you are currently enrolled

Transcript or student record

  • Full name – The name you register for GHC 24 with must match the name on your document
  • School name – Name of the college or university
  • Semester – The semester you are currently enrolled

Form I-20

  • Full name – The name you register for GHC 24 with must match the name on your document
  • School name – Name of the college or university
  • Program of study or start/end date – When your program begins and ends * School attestation – Signature from the school
  • Student attestation – Signature from you, the student F-1 Student Visa
  • Full name – The name you register for GHC 24 with must match the name on your document.
  • School information – Information about your college or university
  • Issued date – The date your student visa was issued
  • Expiration date – The date your student visa expires

Acceptable Documents for Eligibility – Faculty

1. Employment contract (position needs to be clearly visible; please remove/cover sensitive data before uploading)
2. Pay stub (position needs to be clearly visible; please remove/cover sensitive data before uploading)
3. ID badge

Unacceptable Documents

These documents will not be permitted for verification:

  • Any expired IDs
  • Certificates
  • Degrees
  • Enrollment agreements
