Southern New Hampshire University

Dr. Britton has 25+ years in both private industry and academia. Dr. Britton is a strong advocate of women in technical fields. As such, she and her team have taken a group of both undergraduate and graduate female students to the Grace Hopper and Women in Cyber Security conferences for the past several years. This initiative has helped shape and expand the pipeline of future SNHU technology and cyber security graduates. As part of that effort, Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) was recently invited to become a 2020 Building, Recruiting and Inclusion for Diversity (BRAID) Affiliate for its commitment to supporting underrepresented students in technology programs. Gwendolyn holds a Ph.D. in Computer Technology in Education from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, a Masters Degree in Computer Technology in Education from Thomas College in Maine, as well as Bachelors degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Maine at Farmington.
