Veronica Bratland is a MS student at the department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her research interest lies in developing innovative wearable technology that could be applied to the field of human augmentation and assistive devices. For her MS thesis she is developing a platform of discreet intraoral wearables that encompass IOT, hardware development, and user-interface software design. Veronica hopes that through the emerging field of wearable technology she could be part of the solution that engineers an inclusive world where no individual is left behind.
