About the Kamala Scholars Program
The Kamala Scholars Program is a year-long opportunity made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor, in honor of a family member, and is dedicated to opening doors and creating pathways for 3rd- and 4th-year undergraduate students pursuing technical computing fields. AnitaB.org offers many opportunities to elevate the full diaspora of our community. This particular scholarship is focused exclusively on Black and Latine students, in alignment with the donor’s wishes. Each year, we welcome 100 students into the program.
Scholars receive:
Travel, Lodging & Transportation

Career Coaching Sessions
12 one-on-one career coaching sessions for professional growth
As part of their commitment, selected scholars are required to attend GHC 26 in Anaheim, October 27-30, 2026, participate fully in their coaching sessions, and complete required program surveys.
