The Grace Hopper Celebration for Women in Computing (GHC) is just around the corner, where thousands of women technologists will convene to celebrate their accomplishments and support each other’s endeavours. The three-day conference always leaves attendees with a feeling of inspiration and excitement – at AnitaB.org, we call this the “Grace Hopper Effect.” The GHC effect will linger well after the conference is over, but you might be wondering — how do I stay engaged and connected beyond the Friday night celebration?
To help answer that question, we’re introducing the first-ever Community Fair at GHC this year!
The Community Fair offers you the chance to interact with AnitaB.org communities, alliance partners and other nonprofits dedicated to changing the ratio and addressing issues that impact women in tech. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn how you can stay involved long after GHC 2015.
Stop by anytime during the three days of GHC to hear from special guests from the tech industry and from our communities at the two Town Halls. Mix and mingle with GHC speakers at the Speakers Corner.
And be sure to stop by the AnitaB.org booth in the heart of the Community Fair to learn about our other programs and initiatives (including, of course ABI.Local) – and score a GHC t-shirt for a small donation!
You’ll find the most updated schedules for the Community Fair in the GHC mobile app and layout in our Career and Community Fair Guide.
