Megan Kaczanowski is a Lead Security Architect at Northwestern Mutual, focused on building a repeatable security architecture review process. Previously, she was a Threat Intelligence lead at S&P Global, tasked with working closely with the incident response and threat hunting teams to proactively identify and remediate threats facing the organization.

Megan has a BA in economics and political science from the University of Michigan. She also holds a number of industry certifications, including the GIAC GPEN, AWS Security Specialty, and Associate of (ISC)2 (CISSP). Megan is passionate about sharing knowledge and connecting with others in the information security community and is the current President of the NY Metro Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) affiliate. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, scuba diving, hiking, and camping.
