Sanjana Srivastava is a second-year undergraduate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is interested in biology and computer science, particularly in computational neuroscience. Srivastava is a research intern for CogCubed, Inc., a healthcare startup, and a research volunteer in the Jacob lab in the University of Minnesota Center for Neurobehavioral Development. She has published one journal paper in the Games for Health journal (2013) and two conference papers in the Entertainment Software and Cognitive Neurotherapeutics Society Conference (2013) and the 17th Annual Minnesota Health Services Research Conference (2013).
“Biology and math are two of my main interests. The idea of being able to figure out why we are who we are is compelling to me, so neuroscience and genetics hold especial interest for me. Computing is part of the future of both these fields, and it also combines math with life science.”
