I am a postdoctoral researcher studying computational neuroscience at UPenn. I have a PhD in physics from UCLA where I worked on auditory biophysics. Furthermore last summer I interned at IBM Research in the NLP team studying multilingual abstract meaning representation.
Through these years I have presented both research posters and given talks at multiple conferences (APS March meeting 2018-2021, Neurips 2019, Interspeech 2019, GHC 2019, EACL 2021). This year I am also on the Data Science Review Committee of GHC.
Additionally, I am currently co-organizing a workshop at UPenn to assist under-represented student populations in their applications to grad school specifically in the mind sciences. Previously I have also organized and hosted the industry panel at APS CUWiP conference held in UCLA in 2017 and was an outreach coordinator for a higher education non-profit organization in Bombay, India from 2011-2012.
