PhD Student, University of Louisville
I am a first year PhD student in Computer science. I also work as a research assistant at University of Louisville. I earned a bachelor degree in mathematics and computer science from the Polytechnic School of Tunisia. Then, I completed a master degree in Computer Science at University of Louisville. My research interests focus on applying deep learning and machine learning tools to solve various tasks. In particular, I am interested in computer vision, object detection, object identification, and video analysis. I have worked on infrared imagery to perform automatic target recognition using Convolutional Neural Networks. I have also used state-of-the-art object detectors along with Convolutional Neural Networks to analyze traffic surveillance footages and automatically detect, identify and track vehicles for security purposes.
