At the time of acceptance, Kainat had been studying as an undergraduate student at Habib University, Pakistan pursuing a major in Computer Science. She has an extensive experience of communicating with and managing diverse communities. As a part of the project named “Techie Vision”, she conducted computer science seminars across underprivileged schools in Karachi. As a lead and instructor for an adult literacy program at Habib University, she has been directly involved in conducting weekly English classes for the working staff. During her undergraduate, Kainat had been working as a Teaching Assistant for up to 4 courses including Calculus, Data Structures and Algorithms, Probability and Statistics, and Programming Fundamentals. In addition, she has been teaching Web Development at a Public School in Karachi. Kainat has been a recipient of numerous awards including Dean’s Honor list in Fall 2020, meritorious award for academic excellence and a full merit-based academic scholarship.
