The Impact of GHC on Students

Each year, the faculty of Northeastern University’s College of Computer and Information Science (CCIS) takes a large group of women to the Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) where they can connect and network with other women technologists. “The girls go and come back feeling so empowered and inspired, as they hear from women leaders in the field. They end up telling their friends about the conference, and then their friends get interested,” said Doreen Hodgkin, the associate dean of administration and student affairs.

With women technologists making up only 25 percent of the tech workforce, events like GHC are more important than ever. We are grateful to all our sponsors for helping us make GHC possible. Learn how you can become a GHC 17 Sponsor!
