Connie Yee is a Senior Data Scientist at Bloomberg, where she employs data science and machine learning to improve Bloomberg’s infrastructure and financial data management. Throughout her 10+ years working in the tech industry, she has been passionate about discovering and implementing innovative data-driven solutions for various business problems, most recently with helping application developers gain insights into their monolithic codebases. This passion also led her to complete a part-time Master’s degree in Operations Research at Columbia University. Connie enjoys mentoring other data scientists and presenting her work, both internally and externally, in an effort to educate and encourage collaboration. She is a member of Bloomberg’s Women in Technology (BWIT) community, where she has showcased her projects to female engineers and allies across the firm. She has long been a supporter of GHC, serving as both a conference participant and scholarship reviewer.
