Chandrima Sarkar Roy

Chandrima Sarkar Roy is a PhD candidate in computer science at the University of Minnesota. She received her master’s degree in computer science from Montana State University. Her research interests are developing data mining and machine learning algorithms for real world applications such as healthcare and social media analysis. Apart from her research, she also loves travelling and cooking.

“I feel that solving a computer science problem is extremely rewarding and this gives me confidence and motivation to face the challenges of life. I would love to stay in this field not only to contribute but also to motivate my juniors to love the field of computing as I do.”
