Eliada Ziraj grew up in Albania and decided to move to the United States after attending the conference Women2Women in Boston. She is currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering technology from Eastern Michigan University. Eliada is an engineer intern at Automatic Data Processing where she works on IT projects in a team setting. She is also a student ambassador at her school, the vice president of Amnesty International, and the president of her university’s math and physics club.
“I left everything behind. I had a great life with all of my friends and family in Albania. But sometimes you have to give up something for a better future, and I will never regret studying in the States because this is really the land of opportunities.”
