Brian Nosek is the Executive Director of the Center for Open Science and a professor at the University of Virginia. He received a Ph.D. from Yale University, and a B.S. in Psychology with minors in Computer Science and Women’s Studies from Cal Poly, SLO. Nosek is co-founder and Executive Director of the Center for Open Science, co-founder of Project Implicit and a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Virginia. Nosek’s expertise is in the gap between values and practices, and thoughts and feelings that occur outside of awareness or control. The Center for Open Science is a non-profit tech start-up with a mission to increase openness, integrity, and reproducibility of scientific research.
