Jing Xie is currently working on her master’s degree in computer science at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is interested in Information Retrieval and Computational Materials Science. Jing is also a part of her college’s Computer Science Women Club, which holds weekly meetings. Before studying at Amherst, she obtained her PhD in materials science at State University of New York at Binghamton.
