Noramay Cadena is an engineer, entrepreneur, investor, and former nonprofit leader. Her professional career has taken her across a diverse range of operating and investing environments, from early-stage startups to Fortune 50 companies. Over the last three years, she has built an innovation hub in Los Angeles to attract and support technology enabled hardware companies. As a partner in the Make in LA venture fund and accelerator, Noramay focuses on partnerships that give the team a deal flow edge and deliver services critical to the support and growth of portfolio companies.
Noramay started her career as an engineer and spent over a decade focused on product development and operations leadership. She attended the Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) program at MIT where she received a master’s degree in engineering systems and a MBA. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from MIT, and co-founded the Latinas in STEM Foundation.
