With less than two months to go, you’ve got your to-do list covered, but you might be wondering what to do when you first get there.
We have a suggestion: Pick up your badge and attend the First Timer’s Orientation and Career Fair Hall Crawl on Tuesday! By collecting your badge early, you’ll skip the long Wednesday morning lines and get to the Orange County Convention Center in time for the keynote. Do you really want to miss a single word that Aicha Evans and Ana Roca Castro have to share with us?
Badges can be picked up at the following locations:
- Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) Registration Desk #1, West Hall B Lobby
- Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) Registration Desk #2, West Hall E Lobby
- Hyatt Regency Orlando, Convention Level across from the escalators between Orlando Ballroom N and Regency Ballroom Q
- Rosen Centre Hotel Registration Desk #1, Level 1 near Grand Ballroom A

You will need to show photo identification. Students and Academic Registrants will also need to provide a valid ID from their university. You will not be able to pick up badges for other individuals, as everyone must show their ID to verify their identity. We can’t check it if the person isn’t there!
You must wear your badge at all times while attending GHC events. It is the only way you can gain access to the Career Fair Hall Crawl, Expo, pre-registered sessions, socials, keynotes, and the Evening Celebration. We will also scan your badge at each session you attend to help us gauge interest and make GHC even better in the future.
For your own safety, we encourage you to remove your badge when you leave the official venues. We provide perimeter security for the venues, but there are times you may choose to wander around the area. Removing your badge may decrease your chances of being a target.
If you lose your badge during the Celebration and need a replacement, please visit the Registration Assistance Desks located in OCCC West Hall, Level 1 and Level 2. There will be a $150 fee for badge replacements.
Don’t waste a moment of your time. Make sure to factor in badge pick-up wait times as you’re planning your time at #GHC19.
