Lesa Mitchell

Lesa Mitchell is a Managing Director of Techstars where she invests in companies and helps these companies scale. Lesa’s career has included roles as a corporate executive, entrepreneur, and consultant to multinational corporate leaders, expanding their companies’ innovation footprints.

For ten years, Lesa was the Vice President of Innovation & Networks at the Kauffman Foundation where she designed, implemented, and scaled models focused on initiating new markets and recovering markets in support of economic growth. Lesa is an advisor for 21 companies, and is a long time Senior Fellow at Milken Institute She is also on the Board of Directors at the Althea Foundation in San Francisco.
