Maurice Wilkins is a former educator and nonprofit leader, who has a distinct passion for community engagement and advocacy. He currently leads Diversity and Inclusion at Fastly, an Edge Cloud Platform based in San Francisco. Prior to joining Fastly he was the Diversity and Inclusion Manager at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative where he built and developed an internal strategy to advance DEI across the organization.
Previously, Maurice worked for Outco, a job search and interview prep accelerator for software engineers, during is tenure he led outreach strategies to support the advancement and community building of PoCs and women in tech. Before relocating to the Bay Area Maurice’s work focused on education, juvenile justice, and community engagement on the East Coast. He is a proud native Washingtonian and a graduate of Morehouse College.
