Nikki Vinayan is currently working on her master’s degree in computer science at the University of Melbourne. She is a Graduate Ambassador for computer science at her university and is also the secretary for Women in ICT. The club’s major goal is to support women pursuing a career in IT. Before pursuing a master’s degree, Nikki worked as a software engineer at Collabera Solutions in Bangalore, India.
“I love the aspect of creating something, even though it’s just a simple web page or a distributed application. At the end of the day, I can proudly claim that I created it and all I needed was a computer.”
