Wendy Velasquez Ebanks is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in computer science at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is working as a web services Intern at the Library of Congress where she analyzes data from social media and compiles reports summarizing all of the library’s social media channels. She believes that the computer science field can contribute to the well being of others. Using new technologies, Wendy believes, can help us make a better future.
“Things happen for a reason, and at the very end, every step you do is in God’s hands. So, just do your best. Although sometimes it is very difficult to continue, you’ll see great results after all. Don’t give up on your dreams.”
