Samantha Forbis

Samantha Forbis is studying management information systems with a concentration in cybersecurity at the University of Arizona. This past summer, she was an iOS developer for a biosurveillance mobile application competition internship at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. At this internship, Samantha and her team developed a situational awareness app employing data analytics and user-centered design principles. Samantha is passionate about encouraging women and girls to become actively involved in STEM fields, as well as narrowing the workplace gap.
