#GHC17 Heads to Orlando – Food & Dining

With so many great speakers and sessions at the Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC), your schedule is sure to be busy. That’s why it’s important you make time to eat and refuel.

Luckily, you’ll find plenty of dining options within walking distance of the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Pointe Orlando, for example, is only half a mile away and has multiple dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Check out other nearby restaurants here.

If you’re too busy to dine out, you can visit one of the many food counters and food courts in the OCCC, as well as the hallway food carts. Make sure to bring a reusable water bottle, as there will be water coolers located throughout the convention center. There will also be a large lunch room available, so you can sit, relax, and network with other GHC attendees while you eat.

Our various community socials will also include food. These socials allow our community members to network, connect with strong role models, and celebrate their accomplishments.

Although there will be a wide variety of food options available, we cannot guarantee that every dietary need will be addressed. If you have a food allergy or religious restriction, please contact your hotel directly to see how it can best accommodate your dietary requirements.

Please be aware that while there will be gluten free options available, there may be cross contamination.

We look forward to seeing you in Orlando.
