Do You Qualify to Attend with a Media Badge?

Press and digital content creator badges will be granted to individuals who regularly cover women and nonbinary technologists, DEI in tech, or related topics.

Digital Content Creator Criteria
Social media content creators/influencers, bloggers, podcasters, and vloggers with the following credentials are invited to apply for a media badge:

  • Following: 5,000+ followers
  • Audience: Engaged following of women and nonbinary technologists
  • Content: Empowering, supportive, and educational content for women and nonbinary professionals and those seeking a career in tech. A focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Adherence to the terms and conditions:
    • Three (3) individual pre-event in-feed posts to all relevant channels.
    • Three (3) individual in-feed posts to all relevant channels during GHC 24.
    • All posts must contain the official hashtags (#GHC24 and #GraceHopperCelebration) and tag the following AnitaB.org social channels in captions:
      • Instagram (@anitab_org)
      • Facebook (/AnitaB.0rg)
      • LinkedIn (/anitab-org)
      • Twitter (@AnitaB_org)
  • Other terms and conditions that apply:
    • Carousels and albums count as a single post.
    • All content must be original and supportive in nature.
    • Content posted may not be deleted at a later date.
    • Travel and accommodations are not provided with this registration type.
  • Content Examples: Content from Digital Content Creators at GHC 23.

Press Criteria
To qualify for a media badge, press applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • All press will be required to submit a link to a recently published piece with their byline (or a link to a video segment if broadcast media).
  • Freelancers, photographers, and film crews will be asked to submit a letter of assignment on company letterhead or from a company email address.
  • Press registrants may be asked to submit additional credentials, as needed.

Please Note: Passes are not granted to publishers, account managers, PR/marketing professionals, sales associates, private consultants, or those attending GHC 24 for reasons other than providing editorial coverage as working press or content creators.

Response Times: Applicants should expect a response to their media badge application within 5 business days. The GHC Communications Team reserves the right to approve or deny any application at their discretion.

The GHC 24 Media Room, located in Room 32 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, is your dedicated space for working, networking, and accessing event resources.
