Rachel L. Friedman is currently seeking a Bachelor of Computer Science degree at Hamilton College. In the summer of 2013, Rachel was a research assistant for a project that applied linguistic analysis to social networking data. Currently, she is a computer science teaching assistant and helps students with programming. Next year, Rachel will be the head teaching assistant for the computer science department. Along with her passion in computing, Rachel also enjoys playing tennis and is on Hamilton College’s varsity team.
“There is nothing quite like the thrill of solving a difficult problem or creating something interesting and sharing it with others. Being part of the computing field allows me to spend my time doing this daily, and I want others to experience the same type of satisfaction that often comes from programming.”
