Kanak Mahadik

Kanak Mahadik is a PhD student in the school of electrical and computer engineering at Purdue University. After working on performance optimizations at Salesforce.com, Kanak resumed graduate school in 2013 as a Ross Graduate Fellow. Her current research is on developing computational genomics applications and making them run on very large datasets, at very large scales. She is passionate about enabling personalized genomics through computational achievements and making a difference to the human condition, closely collaborating with biologists and clinicians.
