Nadya Fouad, in addition to her faculty position as Distinguished Professor and Department Chair of the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, is the immediate past editor of The Counseling Psychologist. She is the recipient of many awards for her research as well as for her service to the training of psychologists. She has served in many leadership roles in the American Psychological Association, and serves on the National Academy of Engineering Workforce Continuum Workgroup. She has published articles and chapters on the career development of women and racial/ethnic minorities, interest measurement, cross-cultural counseling. She is currently working on studies to examine the persistence of women in engineering careers.
