Begum Durgahee

A native of the Mauritius Island, Begum Durgahee holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Mauritius and a master’s in internet computing from the University of Surrey. She’s currently pursuing a PhD in biomedical informatics from the University of Utah. Begum is particularly interested in clinical information extraction, computational semantics, and sublanguage analysis for medical language processing.
