Deveeshree Nayak is a graduate student at University of Memphis majoring in liberal studies. Her undergraduate work consisted of IT engineering and she mastered in computer science and IS Tech. She has 5 full research publications and 4 posters. Her current research interest is in privacy and security in social networking sites and mobile phones.
“I always help, guide and inspire other female students to pursue their career in computer science and stem subjects. I think face-to-face peer mentoring from a diverse pool of women in computing is a remarkably powerful tool and I hope to learn from more experienced students in an effort to continue my academic development.”
