GHC Accessibility FAQs
You can request accommodations both before and during the event by emailing GHC@AnitaB.org. Additionally, you can visit the Info Desks located onsite for assistance.
Everything You Need To Know
During GHC 25, staff members—including those stationed at the information desk—will be available throughout the venue to assist attendees with accessibility needs.

All entrances and exits to the North, South, and Lakeside Buildings at McCormick Place are equipped with ramps to ensure accessible entry and exit. Designated areas will be available for accessible queuing, and all information and registration desks will be positioned at a height that accommodates individuals using mobility devices or those with other height-related needs.
Shuttles will be running to nearby hotels for transportation to the venue. Attendees can request an ADA shuttle (notating the day and time needed) for transportation to the venue. If requesting an ADA Shuttle more than 72 hours in advance, please email GHC@AnitaB.org. If booking the shuttle within 24 hours of when you need it, we will provide the phone number for you to call closer to the event date.
Paid parking is available at McCormick Place. For rates, locations, and availability, please refer to their official website.
Yes, ADA-accessible seating will be available in all session spaces, including Mainstage, Breakouts, and Workshops. Onsite ambassadors or event staff will be available to assist with locating accessible seating.
Yes, an ASL interpreter will be available for all Mainstage sessions. ADA seating will be located directly in front of the interpreter for optimal visibility.
Yes, attendees are welcome to bring their own listening devices for personal use during sessions.
Closed captioning will be available for Mainstage and Plenary sessions.
Attendees who wish to rent a wheelchair, scooter, or other mobility aid for GHC 25 can do so directly through Scootaround, a third-party provider. Available equipment includes scooters, wheelchairs, rollators, and more.
Please note: Rentals must be arranged in advance by the attendee and will be waiting for you onsite. Daily and weekly rates are available. Operators are available seven days per week. For more information, call 888-558-9431.
Only trained service animals are permitted inside McCormick Place buildings, in accordance with ADA regulations. Please note that emotional support or therapy animals that are not trained service animals are not allowed.
Yes, Lactation pods will be located in both the Lakeside and South Buildings. Please note that these spaces do not include refrigeration, and personal items should not be left unattended.
Yes, there will be a space reserved for those who participate in daily prayer. The information desk or any event staff can direct you to this room.
Quiet Zones are designated spaces available during GHC 25 for attendees seeking a break from sensory stimulation. Both a low-volume room and a silent roomwill be provided. Event staff and volunteers will be available onsite to help you locate these spaces.
