Each year at Grace Hopper Celebration, our featured speakers take the stage to discuss their work, share their stories, and inspire other women technologists. We’ve got a great lineup of featured speakers this year, and we know you’ll find their sessions to be both compelling and transforming. Here are just some of the featured speakers you can look forward to seeing at #GHC19.
Sylvia Acevedo
A lifelong Girl Scout, Sylvia Acevedo was appointed CEO of Girl Scouts of the U.S. in May 2017, coming full circle from her youth as a Girl Scout in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Through Girl Scouts, Sylvia discovered her passion for space, science, and math. Her interest in STEM subjects would lead her to a career as a rocket scientist, engineer, technology executive, and award-winning STEM entrepreneur.

Jen Easterly
Jen Easterly is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and Global Head of the Firm’s Cybersecurity Fusion Center. Prior to joining the Firm in 2017, Jen served at the White House as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism. Responsible for standing up the Army’s first cyber operations unit, Jen was also instrumental in the creation of United States Cyber Command.
