Scott McGregor serves as Broadcom’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Since joining Broadcom in 2005, the company has expanded from $2.40 billion in revenue to $8.31 billion in 2013 revenue. Mr. McGregor joined Broadcom from Philips Semiconductors (now NXP Semiconductors) where he served as President and CEO. He previously held senior leadership positions at Santa Cruz Operation, Digital Equipment Corporation (now part of HP) and Microsoft, where he was Director of the Interactive Systems Group and architect and development team leader for the original version of Microsoft Windows®. Prior to Microsoft, Mr. McGregor worked at Xerox Corporation’s Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) where he was involved in designing software for the first personal computers employing graphical user interfaces. He received a B.A. in Psychology and a M.S. in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Stanford University.
