Rachel Williams is the first Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion at StubHub where she will focus her efforts on the company’s workforce, workplace, and marketplace to drive inclusion. She is developing unique programming to help StubHub build a culture of openness and belonging that embraces diversity as a dimension of excellence.
Prior to joining StubHub, Rachel was the Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Yelp for the past three years. In this role, she built Yelp’s diversity initiatives to accelerate action, which led to an 8% increase in women in engineering in the company, as well as the creation of numerous employee resource and affinity groups that now have more than 75% employee participation, among other accomplishments.
The foundation of her mission is simple: Great ideas come from all types of people with all types of experiences. Therefore, she believes that just like great ideas have no boundaries, nor should an employee’s experience.
Prior to Yelp, Rachel held several talent acquisition roles at ClearSlide, SolarCity, and Peet’s Coffee & Tea, and also served as an executive search consultant for venture capitalists. As such, she has a wealth of expertise in recruitment, organizational development, and strategic change activities. Rachel holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Berkeley and lives in San Mateo where she was born and raised.
